The 2014 Chassagne-Montrachet 'Morgot-Fête Le Clos' is wonderful release from Olivier Chanzy. This instantly opens with expresive aromas of orchard fruits, lemon, orange zest, jasmine and minerals which are underlined by hints of toast. On the palate this continues to impress with its beautiful texture and striking overall balance and percision, which is all backed by a gorgeous touch of salinity making this extreamly appealing. Olivier Chanzy is producing some outstanding wines, and this is another to add to the list. (Best 2017-2025) - February, 2017 (JD)
