The 2013 Buil & Gine 'Buil' Toro is a deep hued 100% Tinta del Toro which was sourced from 50 years old in the the Pago del Oro vineyard. This excellent wine begins with aromatics reminiscent of red cherries, red raspberries, orange rind, pipe tobacco and suggestions of leather all taking shape. The lithe palate reveals heady flavors of black cherries, cigar box, coffee grounds, blackberry cobbler and hints of allspice. Chewy and simply delicious right now, this has the stuffing to cellar beautifully for at least another decade. (Best 2017-2027) - April, 2017 (OB)
