100% Grenache fruit planted at 3400 feet of elevation, this wine is aged for about 8 months in neutral French oak barrels. Displaying a beautiful ruby-brick core with a silvery rim in the glass, it opens to notes of freshly picked Bing cherries, macerated strawberries, and a touch of black licorice. As the wine progresses, you are presented with secondary notes of dried sagebrush, pink peppercorn, violet wildflower, dried cranberry, and just a smooch of loamy earth. It’s medium-bodied on the palate and finishes with a chalk and white pepper tone on the mid palate.
