This GSM-styled blend of 50% Grenache, 35% Syrah, and 15% Mourvedre is aged for 12 months in neutral French oak barrels. Sporting a neon ruby core with a light pink rim, the nose pops aromas of ripe blueberry, mountain huckleberry, pencil eraser, ground chocolate, braised meat, and crushed black peppercorn. Moving to the palate - high acidity, a medium body, and flavors of dark cherry, dried sage, lemony herbs, and a touch of anise are all present. A lovely wine that should age well for another decade or more. Better in 2023.
