The 'Brazos de los Andes' is composed of Malbec (45%)¸ Cabernet Sauvignon (28%), Syrah (17%) and Bonarda (10%) and weighs in at 13.5% alcohol. This sat 10 months in French oak prior to being bottled. The wine itself opens with aromas reminiscent of red cherry, anise, smoke, cassis and coffee. There are flavors of anise, coffee, and black cherry, as well as blackberry. The wine has a silky texture and a wonderfully smooth mouthfeel. (Best 2015-2022) - December, 2015 (OB)
