A monumental wine in this vintage the 2017 Château Canon is composed of 73% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc this opens to stunning aromas ripe dark berries which are joined together with nuances of spices, tobacco and graphite, violets and mineral nuances that all take shape. On the palate this is medium-bodied and impeccably structured with lovely underlying acidity framing its core and keeping it fresh and inviting through the finish.
