The 2016 Château Corbin-Michotte Saint-Émilion Grand Cru begins with inviting aromas of ripe cherries and plums that are joined by tobacco, spices and gravel nuances. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully structured with excellent overall balance as everything expands on to the pretty finish. This is drinking excellent today and should continue to do so over the course of the next decade.
