The 2018 Chateau de Ferrand reveals captivating bouquet of ripe black cherries, blackberries, and plum, combined with delicate notes of spices, violets, tobacco, and hints of graphite. The medium-bodied palate offers luscious dark fruit profile, supported by velvety tannins and a well-defined structure. It displays excellent overall balance and focus all the way through the pretty finish. This is excellent today, but should show its best stuff after a few years of cellaring.
