A wonderful showing from Château Clinet in this vintage. The 2017 opens to a fantastic aromatics profile of ripe dark berries and black cherries which are woven together with tobacco, herbs, smoke and hints of fresh violets all emerging from the glass. It possesses a medium body, that is well-balanced, and displays notable concentration through the finish. Overall, this is a lovely effort that should offer a drinking window of a decade or two.
