The 2022 Pierre Brune Saint-Emilion Grand Cru begins with inviting aromas of ripe plums and dark cherries which come together with spices, herbs, tobacco and earthy minerals. It possesses a medium body with excellent overall balance and lovely underlying acidity which provides a sense of freshness and verve as it heads into the finish. This is a beautiful Saint-Émilion which should hit its stride with just a few years of cellaring.
