A fresh and inviting white, made from Biancu Gentile, a variety from the island of Corsica, which is not seen or heard of very often as it was once thought to be extinct. This displays a pale-yellow color and offers aromas of lemon zest, gooseberries and lemon blossoms along with hints of dried herbs and mineral nuances that all take shape. On the palate this possesses a lovely textured mouthfeel that is driven by a lovely combination of minerality and acidity which highlights lemon and floral characteristics through the finish. Readers who enjoy Loire Sauvignon or a light, fresh style white should give it a try.
