The 2020 Lalande de Pomerol from Domaine du Grand Ormeau begins with aromas of blackberries, dark plums, exotic spices, florals and hints of tobacco nuances that all come together beautifully in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied, supported byu gine-grained tannins a lovely texture that is framed by dark cherries, florals and spice notes, which linger on the finish. Delicious now and should continue to drink beautifully with some short-term cellaring.
