The 2020 La Grand Comtadine Gigondas is a beautiful showing which instantly opens to inviting aromas of kirsch cherries, plums and black raspberries which come together with pepper, spices, lavendar and garrigue all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this possesses a medium body with lovely overall balance and a gorgeous texture which expands seamlessly across the palate. The finish is laced with cherries and spices which linger on. This is showing excellent today, however it should also continue to age well over the course of a decade.
