Composed of Grenache and Syrah, this Gigondas opens to inviting aromas of cherries and plums, which come together with pepper, spices, lavendar and hints of iron and licorice. On the palate this possesses a medium body with a wonderful silky texture, which expands seamlessly into the finish where cherries, plums and peppery spices linger on. While this showing excellent today, this should also continue to develop nicely with short-term bottle age.
