The 2015 Château du Bergey 'Cuvèe Tradition' opens to gorgeous aromas of fresh blackberries, cherries, spices, tobacco and minerals with undertones of vanilla bean notes all coming through beautifully in the glass. On the palate it possesses a medium to full body with a well structured frame and a lovely silky texture. This displays excellent overall balance and focus with a wonderful streak of minerality at its core. The finish is marked by dark fruits, spices and tobacco notes which continue to linger on. This is an impressive Fronsac, which shows early appeal as well as nice aging potential. (Best 2018-2025) - September, 2016 (JD)
