The 2017 Château Rauzan-Ségla is an absolute success which is composed of Composed of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. It begins to impress with its inviting aromatics of red currants and cassis, which are woven together with tobacco, florals, licorice, spices and smokey nuances that all come together and emerge beautifully from the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied, well-balanced and elegantly structured, with a remarkable poise and focus that persists through the finish. This is an outstanding showing, which should go on to have a brilliant future ahead.
