The 2017 Côtes du Rhône Villages is fresh and inviting with bright aromatics of cherries and raspberries which are followed by nuances of spices, white pepper and hints of wet stones all taking shape in the glass. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced with a core of juicy ripe fruits framed by lovely acidity leading up to the mouth watering finish. While this is drinking well in its youth it should also evolve nicely over the next year or two.
