The 2020 Domine La Croix du Verger Cotes-du-Rhone Villages 'Laudun' is composed of 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Mourvedre. It opens to inviting aromas of raspberries and plums, which come together with spices, florals and hints of licorice. On the palate this possesses a medium-body with a wonderful overall balance and freshness that highlights the red fruit profile. The finish is laced with flavors of berries, plums and peppery spices which linger on. While this is accessible now, it should also continue to age well over the course of a decade.
