Coming from one of the best sites of all of Burgundy for Chardonnay, the 2019 La Garenne is profoundly complex with notes of fresh white nectarine, Meyer lemon zest, quince, oyster shell, white blossom, dried thyme, crushed wet gravel, and a hint of toasted hazelnut. The palate is perfectly balanced, multi-faceted, and delivers a power that washes over the tongue. I love the incredible minerality and intense focus of this beautiful white Burgundy. 48 cases produced. Highly recommended.
