The 2018 'La Grande Côte' Sancerre is a brilliant showing in this vintage from Pascal Cotat. This gorgeous Sancerre opens to pretty aromatics of tropical fruits, poached pears, citrus, white florals and minerals all taking shape in the glass. On this palate this possesses a rich texture with excellent balance combined with remarkable focus, balance and depth. Overall this is a simply striking Sancerre, which is delicious today, but will also age beautifully over the next decade and beyond.
