The 2021 Domaine du Grand Montmirail Vacqueyras 'Mas Carré' opens to lovely aromas of black raspberries, plums, spices, pepper and wild herbs all taking shape. The palate is medium-bodied, with a lovely velvety texture giving way to flavors of ripe black raspberries, dark plums and lavendar notes continue to build through the long, juicy finish. Overall, this is a simply fantastic wine which will be accessible upon release and will also cellar nicely over the next decade.
