The 2017 'Les Pertuisots' is a fantastic effort from Etienne Sauzet. The nose is quite expressive and instantly impesses with shades of citrus fruits along with nutmeg, smoke and earthy mineral undertones. The palate is soft and inviting, as wine delivers bright citrus, pear and apple flavors with nice flinty and mineral tones that presist through the finish. Lithe and light on its feet, this impressive wine should continue to drink beautifully with some bottle age.
