Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels the 2019 Corton Grand Cru is a stunner, offering scintillating yellow peach, green apple, toasted brioche, honeysuckle, sweet cinnamon powder, creme brulee, sweet mint, and wet volcanic soil. A palate that is finely knitted together of stone fruits, white mushroom, and a hint of bitter herbs that hits the back palate. It’s supported by engaging minerality and a long and luscious finish. Drink now with a heavy decant or over the next 15-20 years. Only 75 cases produced. Highly recommended.
