The 2018 Château Labesse Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux 'Cuvée Perrin' opens to inviting aromas of Blackberries, currents and dark plums, along with licorice, fresh cut florals, spices, tobacco and a touch of mint. On the palate this is medium-bodied and well-balanced with a lovely combination of ripe fruit and acidity that provides wonderful energy and freshness through the finish. An absolutely fantastic showing.
