The 2018 Domaine Bouchaud Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine sur Lie 'Château Thébaud' slowly begins to unwind in the glass, offering aromas of white pear, gooseberry, lime, honeysuckle and stony minerals. On the palate this elegant wine continues to impress with its remarkable balance and fresh racy acidity, wrapped around a core of stony minerals, which continue on through the finish. Overall, this is an excellent wine, which is all about balance and focus, as it beautifully showcases the stony soils of the vineyard.
