The Vouvray Brut Blanc from Domaine du Clos des Aumones is excellent. Fresh and inviting, this begins with inviting aromatics of sliced fuji apples, white peaches, orange zest, jasmine and toasty nuances that all take shape in the glass. On the palate this possesses a beautiful refined style and a wonderful invigorating mousse that leaves you with a bright and energetic finish. This is drinking fantasic now, but should also hold up nicely in the cellar for nearly a decade.
