The 'Le Clos Faguesche' Bourgueil from Domaine Olivier is a wonderul wine that opens beautifully as it sits in the glass. Inviting aromas of dark cherries and boysenberries are woven together with spices, white pepper, tobacco, graphite, florals and wild herb characteristics. On the palate this is medium-bodied and well structured with a lovely core of fruit that is framed by fresh acidity keeping inviting through the finish. This shows wonderful sophistication and class, and should drink beautifully for a decade.
