The 2019 Fleur Tabenot opens to inviting aromas of dark cherries and plums, which come together with tobacco, spices, fresh cut florals, wild herbs, light toasted nuances that all develop in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied, with a round texture and notable ripe red fruits and spices at its core that continue through the finish. This is already quite expressive, but should continue to evolve with some short-term cellaring.
