The 2017 Domaine Matrot Auxey-Duresses comes from vines averaging nearly 40-years-old . It is an absolutely lovely showing as it instantly begins to impress with its aromatic profile of raspberries and dried cherries which are accented with florals, herbs forest floor, spices and licorice. The palate is light-medium bodied, with wonderful overall balance and finesse. through the sleek finish. This is excellent today, yet should only continue to develop even more character over the next few years.
