One of my favorite bouquets from Maison Evenstad with gorgeous shimmering black cherry, red raspberry, red rose petal, earthy herbs, and black licorice aromas, all beautifully defined. The palate is fruit-forward with a touch of wet tilled loamy earth on the very back palate. It’s intense, mineral-driven that develops into blacker fruit and saline/iron notes on the finish. Give this one 1-2 years in bottle before cracking it open. Only 124 cases made.
