The 2021 Chateau Violette Moulis en Médoc immediately opens to lovely aromatics of fresh dark cherries, cassis, spices, tobacco, gravel and fresh cut floral nuances. On the palate this is medium-bodied and well-structured with a velvety texture that leads up to the pretty finish. Overall, this is an excellent effort which should drink nicely over the course of the next decade.
