The 2018 Châteauneuf-du-Pape immediately opens to fresh, inviting aromatics of raspberries and red plums which are laced with dried floral, spices and pepper all underlined by lovely mineral nuances. On the palate this instantly impresses with its full-bodied, round and voluptuous texture and beautiful layers of ripe dark fruits which cascade onto the lavish finish. Overall, this is an excellent wine, which offers both instant appeal and aging potential.
