The 2013 ‘Les Baptaurels’ is a stunning showing, delivering complex aromas of dark cherries and black plums, layered with exotic spices chocolate, licorice, floral, smoke and hints of cured meats all coming together in the glass. On the palate this is full and voluptuous, backed by round tannins which are beautifully polished with no hard edges. It continues to show remarkable balance and finesse with excellent depth and concentration of dark fruits, spices and chocolate through the long seductive finish.
