The 2015 Château Jas de Bressy Chateauneuf-Du-Pape is a classic blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre. It begins with inviting aromas of ripe raspberry, tobacco, violets, leather, lavender, white pepper and exotic spices. On the palate this has a medium body with fresh red fruits and earthy flavors building into the long, dry finish. This is a solid effort which should continue to gain complexity over the next decade.
