The 2018 ‘La Martina’ Barbera d’Alba from Broccardo offers inviting aromas of red cherries, strawberries, leather and crushed gravel that all come together beautifully. It possesses a medium body, with soft tannins, chalky minerality and lovely acidity that continues through the finish. A wonderful Barbera that is showing very well today, yet should also drink nicely over the course of the next few years.
