The 2015 Collosorbo Brunello di Montalcino opens to complex and enveloping aromatics on the nose, showing ripe nuances of strawberries, black plums and light perception of black cherries soaked in alcohol. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannins which are nicely blended into the matrix as it comes to an abrupt finish A lovely Brunello to approach early, but lacking some of the character that will be needed for long term cellaring.
