An excellent showing in this vintage, the 2015 Piancornello Brunello di Montalcino Riserva begins with gorgeous aromas fresh dark berries, plums, spices, tar, fresh cut florals and wild herbs all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is beautifully textured with gorgeous silky tannins and lovely finesse. It shows remarkable overall balance and depth as it leads up to the long finish. This will benefit with some time, and should have a wonderful future ahead.
