The 2016 Brunello di Montalcino opens to inviting aromas of plums, cherries, exotic spices, florals, herbs. minerals and subtle licorice nuances. Medium to Full-bodied, round and velvety with beautifully polished and excellent overall balance. This continues to impress with it's gorgeous silky texture and fresh characteristics, and excellent concentration. This is a fantastic Brunello which is already showing plenty of charcter and should continue to evolve over the next two decades.
