The 2016 is an absolute knockout, as should be mentioned with some of the great wines of Uccelliera Riserva. Seductive and elegant with aromas of blackberries, cherries, exotic spices, tar, leather, florals and fresh white truffles. This beautifully balanced Brunello impresses with its silky texture, polished frame and wonderful depth, which leads into the long, velvety finish. Overall this is an absolutely incredible showing from Elisabetta Gnudi Angelini and winemaker Massimo Bracalente, which is outstanding today, but will also age gracefully.
