The 2019 Pietranera Brunello di Montalcino delivers aromas of bing cherries and dark plums woven together with exotic spices, florals, dark chocolate, herbs and a subtle stoney character. The medium body is elgantly structured and well-balanced all the way through the long finish, which leaves behind lingering notes of cherries, spices and licorice. Overall, this a beautifully made wine, that should continue to drink nicely over the course of they next decade and beyond.
