The 2019 Piancornello Brunello di Montalcino delivers pretty aromas of dark cherries and dried red berries which are woven together with spices, dark chocolate, dried herbs and flowers that all come together seamlessly the glass. On the palate this medium-bodied red is refined, silky and beautifully balanced, with lovey underlying acidity as it heads into the long, sleek finish. While this is showing fantastic already it should also go on to offer a decade long drinking window ahead.
