The expressive Barolo opens to inviting nuances of red cherries and wild strawberries along with exotic spices, eucalyptus, florals and a mineral edge. This is well structured and displays a gorgeous texture, which expands beautifully across the palate as it demonstrates excellent balance. The finsh is long and precise, with red fruits, spices and mineral accents lingering on. This continues to evolve as it sits in the glass, and I expect it will continue to do so in bottle over the next decade and beyond.
