The 2018 Monvigliero Barolo from La Bioca is a fabulous in this vintage. This instantly bursts open with gorgeous aromas of ripe dark cherries and dark berries woven together with sweet spices, leather, licorice, mint, minerals and crushed florals. It continues to impress with its fantastic structure along with its wonderful overall balance and precision. Everything is wrapped up with another layer of delicious red fruits, which leave a lasting impression. This is a wonderful expression of Nebbiolo from the Monvigliero cru that should continue to evolve for many years to come.
