The 'La Mora' Morellino di Scansano from the Cecchi family is a blend of 90% Sangiovese and the rest is a blend of local grape varieties. This has a bold, ripe style with blackberry jam, dark chocolate, tobacco and hints of spring flowers. It is very drinkable and enjoyable, offering a lot of fresh acidity, which does a good job of countering the ripeness of the fruit. Drink this now or over the next 3-5 years.
