The 2016 'Clemente VII' Chianti Classico Gran Selezione begins with wonderful aromas of dried cherries and dark plums which are layered with sweet spice, floral, leather, dark chocolate and licorice. The palate is medium-bodied and structured with fine-grained tannins that grip nicely. It remains beautifully balanced and focused all the way through long, polished finish.
