The 2018 Gran Selezione opens to pretty aromatics of red plums and cherries which are woven together with spices, florals, herbs, hints of leather and sweet oak all taking shape in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a gorgeous silky texture giving way to flavors of sweet dark plums, spices and forest herbs that framed by a lovely touch of acidity that provides wonderful freshness. It continues to impress as it shows wonderful balance all the way through the finish.
