The 2018 Tignanello is absolutely sensational. Composed of 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc this begins with striking aromas of dark cherries, dark plums, spices, florals with hints of leather, smoke and earthy nuances all taking shape. On the palate this is medium-full bodied, beautifully textured, polished and precise with remarkable overall structure, balance and depth through the finish. This is a classic vintage for Tignanello that should go on to age gracefully in the cellar for many years. The best is yet to come for this Tuscan beauty.
