The 2021Lorenzo Melani Rosso di Montalcino opens to aromas of cherries and red berries woven together with spices, licorice, floral and earthy minerals. On the palate this is nicely structured with silky tannins and wonderful overall balance. It finishes up silky with fresh red cherries and spices lingering. This is already showing well and should continue to drink nicely over the next handful of years.
