The 2021 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo opens with pretty aromas of candied red berries, dried herbs, spices along with hints of dark chocolate and wet stones. On the palate this possesses a medium body, which is backed by silky tannins that carry on through the finish. Overall this is a nice value that should drink well over course of the next few years.
