The 2003 is a remarkable effort, which is drinking beautifully right now, opening with aromas of American oak, prune, red currant and ash accents. There are flavors of red currant, red cherry, Christmas spice, orange rind, with mouthwatering acidity. Overall, this is beautifully made, showing wonderful depth and complexity as this leads to the long lasting finish. (Best 2016-2026) - February, 2016 (OB)
